Blade Runner Live
Experience Ridley Scott’s multi-Academy Award-nominated cult classic, Blade Runner (2007 Final Cut), on a vast HD screen accompanied by The Avex Ensemble performing Greek composer Vangelis’ original synthesiser led score in sync with the film.
The 1982 motion picture will come to venues across the UK, with an 11-piece musical ensemble featuring synthesizers, strings, woodwinds, bass, and percussion, bringing the film’s stunning soundtrack to life.
In this stylish noir thriller, detective Rick Deckard (Harrison Ford) must continue as Replicant Hunter following the escape of 4 Replicants from colonies who’ve returned to earth. His mission however is complicated when he falls for Rachel (Sean Young); a Replicant based at the Tyrell Corporation.
Vangelis’ iconic soundtrack was nominated for ‘Best Original Score’ in 1983 at both the BAFTAs and Golden Globes, and has become influential both in the world of film scores, as well as wider electronic music in general.
