The 16-piece collective bridges the ancestral rhythms of the Mand? peoples of West Africa with the creative energy of London?s contemporary jazz, soul and hip-hop scenes, forging a sound both rooted and radical.?
Having collaborated with artists including Obongjayar, Afronaut Zu, and Davido, Balimaya Project continue to redefine the sound of African diasporic expression ? bold, spiritual, and profoundly human.
