Co:See Chats where cinema starts the conversation

Event Calendar CLICK HERE? After four years of events, Co:See Chats arrives at Soul Mama this November for a live show filled with laughter, unapologetic conversation, and a celebration of Black cinema.? Co:See Chats is a live show for us, by us, and about us and the lives we?re actually living, inspired by the films that raised us. From classic movies to new features, we screen clips from iconic cinema to spark honest and unapologetic real talk about love, life and culture. We?re here to connect with each other, laugh at ourselves, and leave a little lighter than we came in.? The conversation is guided by a panel of our favourite commentators; audience members can share their perspectives and challenge the panel and each other live! You can grab the microphone or sit back and enjoy the conversation: either way, we invite you to share the view. Whether it is discussing Roland?s betrayal of Lance in ?The Best Man?, Helen?s revenge on Charles in ?Diary of a Mad Black Woman?, or Shant? mind games in ?Two Can Play That Game?, we explore the characters and choices in the films we love, and reflect on these and our relationships with others. After all: they do say films are windows and mirrors! For a mid-week experience guaranteed to make you laugh and discuss long after the event ends, join us at Co:See Chats.
