Californian singer Matthew Hansen has credited artists such as John Mayer, Coldplay, Jeff Buckley, and Radiohead as being major influences on him.
His style has often been described as melodic with elaborate guitar playing. He also incorporates aspects of folk and jazz into his music, adding a unique flavour to his music which has seen him perform at the Montreux Jazz Festival.
