Delighted be welcoming Savak back to town at the Old Blue Last on Thursday 5th November! Savak are legends of the American alt-rock underground, having made 7 albums in 10 years, along with several 7" singles, EPs and splits. This October will see the release of Door Deals & Debt, an essential collection that spans the band's career to date. The core trio includes Sohrab Habibion (Obits, Edsel) and Michael Jaworski (The Cops) ? who sing, play guitar, and split the songwriting ? along with Matt Schulz (Holy Fuck, Enon) on drums. Bassist Matt Hunter (Silver Jews, New Radiant Storm King) joins for live performances. Drummer Alexis Fleisig (Girls Against Boys) will be touring with them in the UK this year!
