Substance at the Spice of Life Featuring - Mamoko

Thursday 26th of November Substance at the Spice of Life Featuring ? Mamoko The Spice of Life is a Soho landmark, historic music venue and is in the heart of London's West End. Renowned for having a great live sound The Spice of Life and Substance have worked together for over 18 years to bring the very best new music to the heart of the capital. "One of the best little venues in London" Evening Standard The Line up Mamoko We are Mamoko. Fronted by London-based musician Charlie Suff. The band grew from a desire to build world with your closest friends where everyone is free to be strange, expressive, and completely themselves. The result is a project that sits somewhere between an emerging Arcade Fire and a riotous and angsty turn in step with The Strokes. and cathartic indie-rock saxophone-drenched, riff-driven, and anchoredby Suff's raw, poetic lead vocals. Suff has long been captivated by the tension between potential and self-doubt the way we can feel momentarily, brilliantly alive and then suddenly, inexplicably, in our own way. Mamoko channels that question into music that doesn't wait around for an answer. It leans into the chaos. It throws a party in the uncertainty. It invites you to arrive as whoever you are right now and trust that's enough. For fans discovering Charlie for the first time through the band, there's a door, it's open, and whatever's on the other side is exactly what it sounds like. https://www.instagram.com/mamoko.band/ Support act to be announced The Spice of Life is an over 18?s venue .ID will be required if you are asked. http://www.spiceoflifesoho.com/ http://substancegigs.com/index.php https://www.facebook.com/substance.gigs
