The Guitar Gangsters

Guitar Gangsters - No apologies for repeating this marvellous bill from almost exactly a year ago. Maybe it?ll become a manic March tradition! Even the write up has been recycled with no apologies whatsoever!? ?Da Bruddas upfront in this instance and yer original gangstas of geetar are Phil and Pete. Over the years there?s been a veritable Spinal Tappery of drumstick merchants, so we have an emergency fire crew on hand just in case of explosions. We do know the marvellous Mr Ed is now ensconced on second razor sharp six string, so the punk n roll ramalama is even more rifftastic. For fans of The Clash, The Boys, The Godfathers and?The Guitar Gangsters. Eddie Roxy & the Adjacent Kings - the enigmatic former Department S keys wobbler and then vocalist, Edward Roxy esq. may now be found fronting his very own Adjacent Kings, and after recording new material is at last embarking on live dates. The first release ?Let?s Go? reached number 1 in the Legacy charts, this was followed up with a four track EP. 2025 sees the release of ?Soul Snatcher???. Damage UK - former Nuffin boys Brian Damage and Paul Flynn, and co, being senior statesmen of punk rock, 2 albums under their belts n all, command great respect on the scene. Quite right too. Clash/Ruts flavored urgent, agitated stuff, with a social conscience and at times a wry wit.? All as true now as it was 363 days ago? plus DJ Fuzz at the ones and twos.
