What's On at the King's Head Theatre, London

Opened in 1970 the fringe theatre inside the King's Head pub has seen renowned actors like Maureen Lipman, Hugh Grant, Jennifer Saunders, Dawn French, Alan Rickman and Richard E Grant perform on its stage early in their careers, alongside writers such as Tom Stoppard, Bryony Lavery and Victoria Wood, while Steven Berkoff, Mark Gatiss, Ian Hallard, Dame Janet Suzman, Linda Marlowe, Freddie Love, Saul Boyer and Bold Mellon performed at the closing of the original venue in 2023.

The Off-West End venue re-opened in 2024, in a 200 capacity purpose built theatre behind the pub, just a ten minute walk from Angel underground staion, on the Northern Line.
