The Orchard Theatre in Dartford, Kent, opened in 1983 and boasts 956 seats. It welcomes touring musicians, comedians, dance and theatre shows as well as hosts an annual pantomime.
While essential works - estimated to continue until at least May 2026 - are carried out following concerns over RAAC concrete, shows have been moved to Orchard West, a 1,000 capacity temporary theatre built just a 5 minute walk away on the Westgate site.
Trains take just 40 minutes from London Bridge and fall within London Fare Zone 8.
