Chris Avery is a Welsh guitarist-composer bridging ancient melody and contemporary performance with his guitar and voice.
Rooted in traditional Welsh music, his performances move fluidly between genres, from traditional dance music to Bach. He has appeared on stages from Glastonbury to Shakespeare?s Globe, and on BBC Radio 2?s Folk Show and Radio 3?s In Tune.
On this tour, old melodies are heard not as museum pieces, but as living music.
