Raising funds for The Glitter Project Award-winning Funny Women founder Lynne Parker? is marking her platinum 70th birthday in the best possible way ? with a special fundraising comedy night at London?s iconic Comedy Store. The show features incredible women who took part in last year?s Glitter Challenge alongside their comedy mentors in a celebration of new voices in comedy. Together with Jo, Funny Women developed a safe, supportive and joyful initiative where women and non-binary creatives can find their voice. Premiering at the 2024 Edinburgh Festival Fringe, The Glitter Project has become a vital creative incubator for grassroots comedy ? offering workshops, open mics, mentoring sessions and a welcoming creative community where confidence and ideas can grow.
