Jazz Jamaica bring their unmistakable fusion of Caribbean rhythms and jazz for a special Windrush Day celebration.
Honouring those who arrived aboard the HMT Empire Windrush in 1948, this is a tribute to a generation that reshaped Britain?s culture, identity and sound.
Formed in 1991, bassist and bandleader Gary Crosby ? nephew of Ernest Ranglin ? created a project rooted in heritage and forward motion, reworking jazz standards alongside Jamaican folk traditions.
Decades on, they remain one of the UK?s most joyful live acts ? a celebration of rhythm, community and legacy.
