Jason Isbell called him one of the greatest triple threats, a great singer, songwriter and performer, Richmond Fontaine liked him so much they took him on support for their UK farewell tour in 2016 and he will be supporting The Delines and Drive-By Truckers on their 2022 European tours.

Residing in Portland, Oregon, Jerry (who is an inductee into the Oregon Music Hall of Fame) has been releasing records and touring the States and the rest of the world since the early 1980s. In 2020, Jerry released 'The Beautiful Madness', produced by Patterson Hood and with The Drive-By Truckers serving as his backing band, which was his first proper European release.
