Kojey Radical
Defined by a sound he describes as 'space and bass', Kojey Radical (a.k.a. Kwadwo Adu Genfi Amponsah), the Shoredictch and Hoxton-raised son of Ghanaian immigrants, began as a spoken word poet and mixed media illustrator before moving into a mix of grime-y hip hop, alternative rap and spoken word.
At the forefront of a generation of young British artists to push underground Black music into the mainstream, he has received multiple MOBO Awards nominations, including Best Newcomer, and performed at the 2020 ceremony.
