Nadine Khouri
Nadine Khouri is a British-Lebanese musician and songwriter currently living in Marseille. Influenced by alternative folk, film soundtracks and spoken-word poetry, her sound has been described as a “music born of perennial outsider-status.”
Discovered by legendary British producer John Parish (PJ Harvey) for her unique voice, Khouri was invited to collaborate with Parish and subsequently record her debut with the producer in his hometown of Bristol.
A poetic collection of meditations on loss and displacement, ‘The Salted Air’ was hailed by MOJO as "A thing of dark possessed beauty”, celebrated by Q (Critics Choice) and selected as one of Rough Trade’s Albums of the Year.
