Founded by brothers Noah Thompson and Josh Thompson, Roman Street has earned international acclaim for their genre-defying sound a masterful fusion of classical, gypsy, contemporary jazz, Latin, funk, and nuevo flamenco. Their music weaves intricate melodies with infectious rhythmic grooves, creating a sound that is both sophisticated and deeply moving. The band?s name is inspired by an ancient Roman road in the Alps, reflecting the brothers? formative years studying guitar in Switzerland. From their college beginnings, they have evolved into Billboard and iTunes charting artists, often hailed as ?the next generation of jazz fusion.? Roman Street has shared stages with legends including George Benson, The Gipsy Kings, Ziggy Marley, Boney James, Dave Koz, The Rippingtons, Earl Klugh, Jesse Cook, Fourplay, Maroon 5, Michael McDonald, B?la Fleck, and the Preservation Hall Jazz Band. Their album Caravan features standout tracks such as ?Fairhope? and ?Beloved,? highlighting their rare ability to balance complex compositions with beautifully accessible melodies.
