Sam Fender

Sam Fender

Whith his high tenor voice and Geordie accent, Sam Fender shot on to the scene in 2019 when his critically acclaimed Bruce Springsteen-influenced debut album 'Hypersonic Missiles' topped the UK album chart.

Despite living in North London, North Shields is the ever-present backdrop for his deeply personal vignettes of a young life travelling breathlessly from nought to sixty, hauling on the breaks and zipping back again from where he started. His stunning Heartland Rock songs chronicle all the cherished memories, tricky encounters, and events that Sam cannot unsee.

Touring the country's biggest stadiums, his multi-Platinum selling hits include "Seventeen Going Under", "Hypersonic Missiles", "Will We Talk?", and "Rein Me In", which was re-recorded with Olivia Dean and spending 23 weeks at number one, becoming the longest-running number-one single in UK music history.
