Snowboy & the Latin Section

theatre
Released in 1993, 'Something's Coming' followed on from 1989's 'Ritmo Snowbo' and 1991's 'Descarga Mambo' LP's (both released by Acid Jazz Records) and took Snowboy & the Latin Section to new heights and sales. 'Something's Coming' had a 'West Side Story' theme throughout. Snowboy was named after a character from this stage show. It also featured two cover versions - 'The Flintstones Theme' adapted from the Clark Terry Be-Bop version and, surprisingly, 'Anarchy in the UK' by the Sex Pistols which reflected the no compromise attitude of the Jazz-Dance scene at the time. For the first time ever the entire 'Something's Coming' LP will be performed in full by Europe's finest Afro-Cuban Jazz group for this never to be repeated special event at the world famous 100 Club.
