Croydon siblings Will Gao and Olivia Hardy encorporate a diverse mix of genres including Jazz, Pop, and Classical inspired by their mixed British-East Asian heritage and training.
Will is perhaps best known for his debut role as Tao Xu in the Netflix series Heartstopper, while together with his younger sister, Wasia Project chart a new sonic hinterland as they alchemise their classical training with kinetic club-adjacent dance music, soulful electronica, and cinematic piano-pop into a string of dewy-eyed singles that has built them a global following.
