The Aldwych Theatre is part of Nederlander Theatre’s and is a Grade II listed Edwardian Theatre. Currently home to the world premiere of Tina – The Tina Turner Musical, the venue first opened its doors in 1905 when it was built as a companion theatre to The Novello.
In 1960, The Aldwych became home to The Royal Shakespeare Company, where they remained for 21 years. Many shows have debuted and premiered at The Aldwych Theatre, including Jim Cartwright’s The Rise And Fall Of Little Voice, Tom Stoppard’s Indian Ink, and Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Whistle Down The Wind.
