What's On at the London Palladium, London

The London Palladium is one of the world’s most famous and cherished theatres and is currently home to Evita. Opening on boxing day 1910, The Palladium immediately established itself as the home of variety and has continued to draw in the biggest stars of stage and screen ever since.

The London Palladium has welcomed every kind of star imaginable. Jazz legends Louis Armstrong, Cab Calloway and Fats Waller, international stars such as Frank Sinatra, Judy Garland, and Bob Hope, and British stars such as Julie Andrews, Shirely Bassey and Tommy Steele have graced this famous stage. Tommy Steele headlined at The Palladium more than any other star, earning himself a plaque in their Cinderella Bar!

With a seating capacity of 2245, The Palladium has hosted The Royal Variety, The Crazy Gang, The London Palladium Pantomime, and the world’s favourite variety show - Sunday Night At The London Palladium, making stars out of hosts Bruce Forsyth, Norman Vaughan, and Jimmy Tarbuck. The Palladium premiered musicals such as Singin’ In The Rain and the world premiere of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, where the infamous revolving stage was removed to accommodate a flying car!
