What's On at the OVO Arena Wembley, London
The OVO Arena Wembley is perhaps London’s most iconic music venue and its second largest indoor arena with a capacity of 12’500. Situated next to Wembley Stadium, OVO Arena Wembley hosts music concerts, festivals, comedy, arena stage tours, sporting events, and family entertainment. Originally built in 1934 for The British Empire Games, it housed a swimming pool with a retractable deck used as an ice rink for ice hockey and skating.
This Grade II listed building has seen some of the biggest stars perform there, including The Beatles, The Hollies, David Bowie, Bon Jovi, Abba, Beyonce, Madonna, and Queen. Following a multi-million renovation, Arena Wembley reopened in 2006, and through a sponsorship deal, became known as the OVO Arena Wembley in 2022.
The OVO Arena Wembley has hosted numerous premieres, including the film biopic Bohemian Rhapsody. Since reopening in 2006, a Square Of Fame was introduced, similar to the Hollywood Walk Of Fame, where global performers have their handprints in plaques.
