What's On at the Soho Theatre Walthamstow, London

The beautifully restored iconic Spanish baroque cine-variety theatre in the heart of Waltham Forest was originally opened in 1927 as the 2,637-seat Walthamstow Granada cinema by Manchester's Granada Television company, and played host to famous concerts by the likes of The Beatles, Little Richard, Jerry Lee Lewis, and Buddy Holly.
Following its closure in 2003, Waltham Forest Council eventually took ownership and lovingly restored, for operation by Soho Theatre, reopening it in May 2025 as a 960-seat main auditorium, with three smaller studio spaces.
