Hannah Rose Platt
Hannah Rose Platt is an acclaimed singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and storyteller, who merges the sinister authorial prowess of Nick Cave and Tom Waits, with the incandescent vocals of Mazzy Star and PJ Harvey.
Born and raised in Liverpool where she wrote her first songs and cut her teeth on the local live circuit, Platt is now based in Bristol where she has become an established figure on the UK scene.
Loaded with the kind of cordite cool that PJ Harvey or Nadine Shah carry at their most gothic and gripping, her concept horror album (produced by Ed Harcourt) “Dead Man On The G Train” sends shivers down your spine.
