Norah Jones
New York folk jazz singer Norah Jones, the daughter of Indian Bengali musician Ravi Shankar, first emerged on the world stage in 2002 with the release of Come Away With Me, her self-described "moody little record" that introduced a singular new voice and grew into a global phenomenon, topping the charts around the world, sweeping the 2003 Grammy Awards and selling over 27 million copies (including 2.5 million in the UK).
Since then, the nine-time Grammy-winner, has gone on to sell more than 50 million albums, topped the charts three times in the UK and her songs have been streamed six billion times worldwide.
In 2022, Jones launched her podcast Norah Jones Is Playing Along which features candid conversations and impromptu musical collaborations with some her favourite musicians.
