Pulp

theatre

Although formed in Sheffield in 1978 by 15 year old schoolboy Jarvis Cocker, the critically acclaimed indie rock band Pulp only first came to fame in the Britpop era, scoring their first Top 40 hit in 1994 with "Do You Remember the First Time?" from their Top 10 album "His 'n' Hers".

It was their next album (their fifth), "Different Class", which really took them to the big time, topping the charts in 1995 (eventually going 4 x Platinum) and spawning the Top 10 hits "Common People", "Sorted for E's & Wizz", "Disco 2000" and "Something Changed", while "This is Hardcore" also topped the charts in 1998 and included the Top 20 hits "Help The Aged" and "This is Hardcore".
