Set in a fictional pre-independence India, RRR follows the story of two revolutionaries: Komaram Bheem (N.T. Rama Rao Jr.) seeks to rescue a child abducted by a British Governor, while Alluri Sitarama Raju (Ram Charan), a colonial police officer, is assigned to catch him.

As Bheem and Raju cross paths and form an unlikely bond, they embark on a perilous rescue mission, each unaware of the other's true identity and motives. Ultimately coming together represented as forces of fire and water, they face a common enemy - British colonial rule.
