Sigur Ros
Named in part after a sister of one of the bandmembers, Icelandic art rock group Sigur Rós (Victory Rose) was formed in 1994 by guitarist and vocalist Jón Þór Birgisson (who later went by the name Jónsi), bassist Georg Holm, and drummer Ágúst Ævar Gunnarsson.
With numerous accolades and platinum status sales, they have made appearances on both The Simpsons and Game of Thrones and contributed two instrumental recordings for an episode of Black Mirror.
