Influenced by country storytellers like Lucinda Williams and Richard Buckner, many of their songs contain semi-autobiographical details about lead singer Karly Hartzman's past life experiences in Greensboro, North Carolina, claiming "where I'm from is the most original thing about me."
Guitarist Jake "Spyder" Pugh replaces Lenderman on tour.
