Shakella is also touring with 80?s soul band Change, known for hits like Change Of Heart & Searching (Luther Vandross) With over 20 years in entertainment, Shakella has performed on an assortment of stages from London theatres, festivals to international concert halls in an variety of productions including The Magic Of Motown, Soulsations, Soul Legends ? providing BV?s for the soul luminaries Gwen Dickey (Rose Royce) & The Drifters. Vocals / Host Lyrikal is a phenomenal vocalist, a 2016 VOICE semi-finalist under the mentorship of WilliAM. Multi disciplined Lyrikal is known for his soulful vocals and beat Boxing & improv/ freestyle skills both in dancehall & soul. Drums On drums, with over two decades of rhythmic mastery, London-based drummer Kenielle Roach has provided the solid foundation for a diverse array of artists, including Grammy winners Donnie McClurkin and BeBe Winans, and reggae legends Winston Reedy and Tippy Irie. Bass The bass in DS band is provided by Steve Yard, a seasoned bassist, who has played for artists such as Lazy Hammock, Julie Dexter, Omar Lyefook & Leela James to name a few. Guitar The guitar in DS band is in the sharp hands of Shaun Travosso, an experienced international musician with great dexterity and attention to detail. Shaun plays a variety of styles from soul to rock covering the 1950s to 1990s era. Shaun?s versatility and unique style has seen him play in a variety of settings from Dublin Castle to Silverton Racetrack. Keys Daniel Eugine a dynamic, versatile, experienced musician, music director and is master of both piano and bass guitar. His musical journey has taken him from the heart of London?s jazz scene?performing at Ronnie Scott?s, 606 Club, and The Blues Kitchen, EFG London Jazz Festival ?to international festivals such as the renowned Sibiu International Theatre Festival (FITS) in Romania and Binh Minh Jazz Club in Vietnam. Sax Sax is provided by Jay Sax who has been captivating audiences for over twenty years. An extremely unique, vibrant, versatile player, who can perform to all styles of music from jazz, r&b, blues, funk, soul to garage/house & DJ/club music. Jay also is Music director at Tramway CF ELIM and plays for Anointed Gospel Musicians.
