Queen Horizon ? 5 piece indie rock band from Kent. 2 gals, 3 geezers. Sassy stuff. Expect uplifting, in your face, vocals and big guitars. Think Veruca Salt mixed with Roxette or maybe Hole mixed with Fuzzbox..
Dainoni ? Another alluring female fronted melodic alt rock band, this time from S Wales. A sugar rush of pop charm accompanies each anthemic hard rocking pearl. Nicely done.
The Sick Fix ? suitably rancorous garage rock from a young band who take their cues from all the groovy old stuff. You might even get a Sonics cover? and the singer could easily pass for Mark E Smith circa 1978!
Soundcheck In The Alley ? 3 piece indie/alternative rock band based in Buckinghamshire. Nicely overdriven, sonic saturation, that puts you in mind of early Verve with a hint of My Bloody Valentine? certainly some shoegaze/nugaze elements here.
